Better scanning from Intermec

Intermec Technologies has introduced a ruggedized
handheld computer with integrated near/far imaging
technology that can read virtually any symbology
at distances from 6 inches to 50 feet. The
CK31ex offers mobile employees computing, datacapture
and documentation in a single device. It is
the first device to integrate the Intermec Intellibeam
EX25 autofocus, near/far scan engine. It
can read 1-D and 2-D bar codes, composite and postal
codes in any orientation, and bar codes printed on
plain paper, eliminating the need for expensive
retroreflective label media.
