OpenFabrics launches certification program

The nonprofit OpenFabrics Alliance has launched a
testing and certification program for high-performance
computing hardware. The objective is to certify
that high-performance hardware supports the Open-
Fabrics software stack, which is open-source and
transport-independent, supporting InfiniBand and
iWARP. It works in Linux and Microsoft Windows
environments. The testing program will also ensure
that certified hardware is interoperable with other
high-performance hardware.
