BEA Systems is releasing a new version of its business process management application, BEA AquaLogic BPM Suite. Version 6 has tighter integration with the company's AquaLogic suite of service-oriented architecture products. Analysts composing processes can view a list of services available on the Enterprise Service Bus, and SOA governance tools can keep track of business processes, said Jesper Joergensen, director of product marketing at BEA. Other features include Asynchronous JavaScript and Extensible Markup Language support, a new Eclipse-based platform and support for all versions of the Business Process Execution Language. Stronger integration with the SOA platform allows agencies to better carry out their enterprise architectures at the business process level, said Peter Bostrom, chief technology officer at BEA Federal. www.bea.com
