The Digital Defense Group has launched a new personal identity platform ' an open, standards-based product suite for achieving enterprise security convergence. The biometric physical and logical access control system is built around the Factor4 and IronGate contactless security biocards and DDG's Biometric Operating Secure System. Reader hardware for the platform uses industry standard wireless protocols. The credit card-sized biocards are self-enrolling on the device and eliminates the need for a centralized biometric database.
