Microsoft has introduced a new beta service for its Office suite that adds online collaboration features. The service allows users to store more than 1,000 Office documents online so that they can be accessed from any computer with a compatible Web browser. Users can invite other users to their workspace and control whether visitors are able to view, comment on and edit documents. The system can open and save files from Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
