MPC launches new SAN appliance

MPC Computers has announced the launch of the new MPC DataFrame 2112 storage-area network appliance. The new DataFrame 2112 provides an industry standard-based SAN platform for high-speed, disk-based storage, which also includes built-in high-availability and disaster recovery features powered by FalconStor IPStor software. The DataFrame 2112 is capable of supporting both Serial Advanced Technology Attachment II and Serial Attached SCSI drives with drive capacities as high as 1T each. The unit houses 12 drives enabling storage growth of as much as 12T in a single 2U shelf, which can also be easily added to with expansion shelf capacity.
