Streamlining JBoss managment

Red Hat has released a management
console for its JBoss middleware
suite, the JBoss Operations
Network 2.0. This software allows
administrators to manage and track
the performance of multiple
instances of JBoss application
servers and associated middleware.

Through a browser console,
administrators can check the queue
of jobs for each server or the
aggregated performance of all the
servers. Alerts can be sent when
performance doesn't hit predefined
metrics. The software also makes it
easy to distribute a new application
across all application servers in a
network and store and manage
JBoss configurations. The software,
which only works with JBoss
application servers, is available as
part of the Red Hat JBoss subscription
support plan.
