VideoComm Technologies has announced the availability of its 5.8-GHz, wireless color mini-camera series.
The MXR-5842c and MXR-5847vf cameras offer high-resolution wireless video applications that are protected from interference from 2.4-GHz, 802.11 b/g data devices, the company said yesterday.
The cameras weigh less than 3 ounces each and can send video from locations where only a battery source is available.
Certified by the Federal Communications Commission, as well as Industry Canada and Compliance Europe for use in the license-free, 5.8-GHz ISM band, the MXR series will transmit color video signals for indoor applications ranging up to 300 feet.
