Collaboration on deck for Deki for CRM

MindTouch and SnapLogic today announced Deki for CRM, a collaborative tool that offers a wiki-based interface.
Deki for CRM is based on MindTouch Deki Enterprise Server, as well as the SnapLogic open-source data integration framework and SnapLogic Solution Packs for Sugar CRM and Salesforce.com. It provides users with a dashboard of dynamic reports within their CRM application by pulling data from back-end applications and online Web services, according to MindTouch representatives.
Users can collaborate on reports and mashups without having to use complex Web services programming, MindTouch added.
Sales professionals often have to access data from an array of applications to handle leads and manage large accounts. Deki for CRM helps employees share ideas and data across the silos of a company, the company said.
Deki for CRM provides connections to SnapLogic data pipelines from Sugar CRM and Salesforce.com, as well as other data sources such as external financial systems, product databases and order-processing systems, MindTouch said.
