eIQnetworks' upgrade monitors USB usage on desktop computers

eIQnetworks Inc. has upgraded its SecureVue security logging software. SecureVue monitors intranet desktop computers for configuration and potential vulnerabilities, as well as overall usage and network performance.

Version 3.1 of the software offers the ability to log what data has been downloaded onto a USB-based thumb drive from a desktop computer. The upgrade also includes an upgraded user interface and new workflow management capabilities that allow administrators to create and share work tickets about areas of trouble. The company has also improved the software's ability to parse non-standard configuration files.
