Enhance Technology introduces series of RAID products

EnhanceRAID TS2060 series offers users a choice of backup methods in case of network failure

Enhance Technology has released a new series of Redundant Array of Independent Disks products — the EnhanceRAID TS2060 series, designed for small and midsize businesses and enterprise applications. The series offers users a choice of backup methods in case of network failure, the company said.

The 2U 6-disk rackmount storage system works with disk-to-disk/disk-to-disk-to-tape backup, data and servers. Users can deploy and manage the disk array remotely with Web browser-based software.

The EnhanceRAID TS2060 series comes with an optional tape drive, CD/DVD/Blu-ray recorder or Enhance IS210 external hard disk drive enclosure.

The TS2060 series also has a cooling airflow design, multiple drive configurations, and fans and power supplies that can be hot-swapped. The power supply comes in two formats: a single industry-grade PS2 250W and a dual 350W redundant option. The design features anti-vibration drive protection, security locks and a one-touch unlock button.

The TS2060-SS SAS RAID storage system can transfer data at a rate of 350 megabits/sec via its SAS SFF-8470 port, the company said.
