CA this week unveiled CA Clarity Grants Manager on Demand, a software-as-a-service tool designed to help states and cities manage and report on grants, including funds received from the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009.
The software divides the grants life cycle into four areas: selection, acquisition, implementation and performance tracking. Based on CA’s Clarity Project and Portfolio on Demand platform, CA Clarity Grants Manager On Demand automates the whole grants management process. The software employs an integrated, Web-based methodology that’s targeted toward helping users meet the upcoming Oct. 10 reporting deadline for ARRA funds.
CA Clarity Grants Manager on Demand “enables state and local governments to make the most of their grants, including stimulus funds, by reducing the time and resources needed to select, apply, track and report on them,” said William Clark, public sector chief technology officer at CA.
In addition to meeting the stringent ARRA auditing and reporting requirements, the software also can be configured to manage funds from the $105 billion in non-stimulus funds the U.S. government grants each year, CA said.
CA Clarity Grants Manager on Demand helps users prioritize grant opportunities; streamline the grant attainment process; and track performance and financial data.
