EPA selects Raytheon for IT services

Raytheon will provide IT infrastructure support to the Environmental Protection Agency through the Information Technology Solutions-EPA II contract, Raytheon representatives announced.

With multiple suppliers, the blanket purchase agreement under General Services Administration’s Schedule 70 has a value of $955 million, Raytheon said.

Under the ITS-EPA II contract, Raytheon will provide the EPA’s Office of Environmental Information with a broad array of IT services for secure information exchange, data analysis and scientific investigation, the company said.

The contract will expand Raytheon’s environmental services, including remote sensing, data management and geographic information systems at EPA ecology research laboratories, Raytheon said.
