Project: Biometric Identification System for Access Day Worker system.

Challenge: To enable biometric registration and screening in the field for day workers at U.S. facilities.

Solution: BISA DW extended biometric enrollment and screening capabilities to portable equipment that could be used in the field and could rapidly interact with Defense Department and FBI databases.

Impact: The impact of this project is difficult to measure because much of the information is classified. However, anecdotal reports indicate that the project has been extremely successful.

Duration: 2009 to present.
