Broadband map missing some info, group says

The National Broadband Map may not give a full picture of how connected communities are, Government Technology reports.

According to a white paper by fraud detection firm ID Insight, the broadband map maintained by the U.S. government is lacking information on some Internet carriers and the areas they cover.

ID Insight based its data on an analysis of more than 500 million Internet transactions across the United States.
