GSA launches OASIS market research tool

The General Services Administration released the OASIS Discovery Market Research Tool, designed to give vendors and agencies more data to support acquisition decisions under GSA's professional services contracting vehicle.

OASIS Discovery lets federal users generate lists of active sources in appropriate pools of vendors, identify socioeconomic set-asides for task orders, access detailed information on potential sources from the System for Award Management and the Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation and find vendor points of contact and coding.

Created by 18F, GSA’s digital services shop, OASIS Discovery “comes with everything you need to get started, including fixtures for some static information and management commands to load the rest of the data,” according to the README file on GitHub.

On March 4, the agency began offering OASIS Discovery on the Web page for the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services contract, which covers the main OASIS Unrestricted contract and the OASIS Small Business contract. The code is available on GitHub.
