2018 Industry Innovators: Where tech meets mission

The 2018 Industry Innovators have developed capabilities and solutions that are laser-focused on their customers’ missions.

These 25 firms have delivered a range of creative and ingenious solutions to missions as diverse as thwarting rogue drones, securing medical devices, helping deliver food to those in need.

All of the innovators invested their own time and resources and found government partners willing to conduct pilots and develop proofs of concepts. Sometimes the answer was a new product from the ground up, but other times the innovator reimagined an existing technology for a new application. Application of artificial intelligence crops up in multiple places on our list, as do other emerging technologies.

As the following Industry Innovators illustrate, for every customer challenge, there is an industry partner working on a solution.
