Last call for Fed 100 nominations

The team at FCW kept the Federal 100 nomination window open as long as they could, but the partial government shutdown has lasted far longer than most anyone thought possible. Judging for the 2019 Federal 100 Awards takes place this weekend, so all submissions must be in by 6 p.m. ET on Friday, Jan. 25.

These prestigious awards honor members of the federal IT community who go far beyond their assigned duties to make a difference. If you have a nomination that's awaiting final sign-off from furloughed supporting nominator, please consider submitting it as-is with a note about that challenge.  The online nomination form is here, and you can find detailed guidelines at FCW.com/2019fed100.

The current shutdown is an unwelcome reminder of the many obstacles that members of the federal IT community must sometimes overcome.  Please make sure it doesn't keep the best of those individuals from getting the recognition they deserve.
