Nerd cred: Hermes ties in with IT patterns

Fashion designer Hermes has released a series of eight silk ties featuring digital motifs easily recognized by the IT crowd. The USB logos, computer keyboards, on/off switch buttons, binary code, trash bin logos, and cable-inspired patterns are subtle, but sweet.

I love these! And yes, any up-and-coming techie should own one. They are timeless and elegant. The only place you can pick these up now is via the second-hand market, like on Amazon, but you have to be careful to make sure you don't get a fake. I wrote an article a while back on how to authenticate and shop for used Hermes ties. http://jacobjmorris.hubpages.com/hub/How-To-Authenticate-A-Hermes-Tie
