Who invented the computer mouse?

Answer: Doug Engelbart, an inventor and pioneer of the early days of computers and the Internet, invented the first mouse back in 1963.

It was made out of wood. He never received any royalties for that invention, which became an extension of every computer user’s hand for decades. It still is for most users, although touch pads and screens are replacing the mouse.
