She will serve in GAO as an assistant director for security on the watchdog agency's Information Technology team, the same position she held before going to Commerce in April 2002.

John Sindelar, the General Services Administration's senior adviser to the administrator and a long-time federal IT manager, is heading to EDS Corp.
Sindelar, who in November announced he would retire from government, will be a client industry executive working in EDS' global government industry program. His last day at GSA will be Feb. 2 and he will start at EDS March 15.


House Oversight and Government Reform Committee chairman Henry Waxman (D-Calif.) has named the subcommittee heads for his influential panel. Rep. Tom Davis (R-Va.), the ranking Republican on the committee, announced the leading GOP subcommittee members.

The White House has announced that President Bush intends to nominate James Clapper Jr. to serve as undersecretary of Defense for intelligence.

Clapper, a retired Air Force lieutenant general, currently is with DFI International, a Washington, D.C., management consulting firm. Before joining DFI, Clapper was director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, and before that served as director of the Defense Intelligence Agency.
