As program manager for the migration of Schedule 70 to the automated Solicitation Writing System, Harris formed an advisory team of senior contract specialists and organized and led team meetings. As a result, offerors' submissions were reduced from more than 150 pages to 21 pages.

In her third year in GSA's Career Intern Program, Harris is responsible for basic contract administration and is a member of the IT acquisition support team that helps manage the IT Schedule 70 solicitation.Mary Powers-King, director of governmentwide acquisition contracts and IT schedule programs at GSA, cited Harris' work during the migration of Schedule 70 to the Solicitation Writing System, an acquisition tool. As program manager of the migration process ' and with minimal supervision ' Harris formed an advisory team of senior contract specialists and organized and led team meetings. As a result, offerors' submissions have been reduced from more than 150 pages to 21 pages, and vendors can access more information electronically.Turnover among information technology leaders is a fact of life in government circles.
