One of America’s national banks<\/strong><\/a>, TD Bank, is also one of the United States subsidiaries of the Canadian multinational TD Bank Group. This bank has announced that it will soon close about 38 of its branches and one could only imagine the impact it would have – not just on the customers, but the employees as well. This means the staff will be without jobs and customers who are banking with TD Bank, will have to make use of alternative banks. The staff, on the other hand, will have to start searching for other employment opportunities.<\/p>\n

It was stated in a statement issued to WPIX, that as part of the bank’s normal business practice, it is evaluating the current operating banks regularly. As a result of this, some closures, consolidations, or relocations may occur.\u00a0 This is because the company is looking for opportunities to better align its network of stores with the needs and preferences of its customers.<\/p>\n

Therefore,\u00a0TD Bank made an announcement that the company will soon implement a massive closure of 38 branches across 10 states. Also, this includes a big total of 11 locations in popular places like New York and New Jersey.<\/p>\n

A massive closure is starring many Americans in the face, especially those closely related to TD Bank.\u00a0The bank is currently operating in about 1,100 branches in the United States, seven of these branches are located on Staten Island. There is a lack of borough locations indicated to be a part of the closure list. In addition, various banks that are affected by this, are expected to close by 5 June 2025.<\/p>\n
