This was after it discovered the magnets inside the front cover may detach over time. This was also discovered at Walmart stores, one of Costco&#8217;s rivals. It is important to note that no injuries have been reported, but consumer should be careful because detached magnets can lead to serious health risks, especially in children and pets.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"article-sub-heading\"><strong>21 July 2025 &#8211; Bestway Recalls Aboveground Pools Over Drowning Hazard Linked to Compression Straps<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In a recent case, <a href=\"https:\/\/gcn.com\/us\/dangerous-recall-hits-walmart-stores-across-america\/\">Walmart<\/a> also reported recalls for the same product. The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission in partnership with Bestway, issued a safety recall. This recall included selected Power Steel, Steel Pro, and Coleman Power Steel aboveground pools that were sold between 2008 and 2024. Also, the recall targets specifically 8-inch or taller models that has external compression straps. Children may use these straps as footholds to access the pool unsupervised, which could lead to the risk of drowning.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"article-sub-heading\"><strong>21 July 2025 &#8211; Intex Recalls Aboveground Pools Over Drowning Hazard<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A voluntary recall was issued by Intext Recreation for selected swimming pools aboveground. These are pools that are 48 inches and taller and that were sold between 2002 and 2012. The reason for this recall is that there may be a potential drowning hazard. This recall specifically includes the 48&#8243; and 52&#8243; Metal Frame and Ultra Frame pools, as well as certain Costco-sold models. Swimming Pools that were manufactured from 2013 onward are not impacted, because they use an internal strap system to eliminate the any hazards.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"article-sub-heading\"><strong>10 July 2025 &#8211; RITZ Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches Recalled Over Allergen Mislabeling Risk<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A voluntary recall was issued by Mondel\u0113z Global on a limited number of 40-count cartons of RITZ Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches. These products were sold at selected Costco Warehouses and Business Centers between June 2 and July 9, 2025. Carton that are affected are those that consist of peanut butter cracker sandwiches but are incorrectly labeled the cheese variety.
