The reason for this specific recall is that the product may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Sno Pac Foods has suspended production of its spinach while it investigates the source of the Listeria contamination. Although at this time, no illnesses have been reported in connection to this recall, it is still better to remain safe than sorry.
