Inster owns Germany’s most prestigious car award
Hyundai Inster received accolades for itself by claiming the coveted Golden Steering Wheel award for “Vehicles under €25,000” presented by AUTO BILD & BILD am SONNTAG for being Germany’s number one affordable electric car. “Ioniq 9” is preparing to transform the three-row electric SUV market
The new Hyundai Ioniq 9 will mark one of its first forays into high-end electric SUV cars, offering three rows to seat six or seven individuals while having a range of as many as 335 miles, as per EPA ratings. This new offering brings class-leading interior features to its customers and comes packed with features like captain’s chairs and Universal Island Center consoles, among others.
Hyundai has engineered its new Ioniq 9 model to come in various powertrains, starting from 215hp rear-wheel-drive to 422hp all-wheel-drive trim levels to meet all market requirements. Hyundai SmartSense safety features come standard on the Ioniq 9; these include Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with full detection functionality, Highway Driving Assist 2 function, and the Advanced Rear Occupant Alert system. The safety features operate cumulatively to offer multi-layer safety protection for families while also offering innovative safety features such as Safe Exit Assist and Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 functions.
European market strategy positions Hyundai for electrification leadership
Hyundai’s dual-prong strategy with Inster and Ioniq 9 helps to cover various market segments to meet Hyundai’s strategy to go all-electric for all its models offered to customers in Europe by 2027. Inster meets urban mobility demands because of its small size and budget-friendly prices, while Ioniq 9 is designed for families to meet their requirements for rich features and a three-row seating configuration for electric cars.
This strategic move takes into account Hyundai’s insight into the preferences and requirements of diverse sections of the population in Europe for making the transition to electric mobility. Since 70% of Hyundai’s car sales in Europe have already been designed and manufactured locally, Hyundai is poised to capitalize on growing demands for e-vehicles for different price ranges of prices.
The strategic launch of Hyundai’s award-winning Inster and innovative Ioniq 9 exemplifies its efforts to take a leading role in Europe’s shift to electric vehicles. Each targets a different market but also highlights Hyundai’s focus on advanced technology, cost competitiveness, and overall safety offered by Hyundai’s flagship cars to meet the demands of consumers in Europe. As Hyundai rolls out its strategy for full-electric vehicles by 2027, its flagship cars have now paved its way for success within Europe’s fast-changing EV market.
