Poland’s healthcare innovation landscape witnesses a significant milestone as Warsaw-based Jutro Medical closes an extended Series A funding round worth €24 million. The AI-first primary care operator has captured investor attention through its unique approach to integrating artificial intelligence directly into clinical workflows while maintaining traditional healthcare standards. This latest funding brings the company’s total Series A to €36 million, positioning it for aggressive expansion across European markets.

Healthcare rollup using AI-enabled technologies finds rhythm

Jutro Medical has also created a rather unique business plan for itself, in that it involves the acquisition of clinics and the integration of their AI solutions into the said clinics. Rounding out the financing of Jutro Medical was an extension of €24 million, led by Warsaw Equity Group, alongside other investors including Vinci, naturalX Health Ventures, Fluent Ventures, Aternus, KAYA VC, and Inovo VC, as well as mBank and Orbit Capital as debt investors.

Founded in the year 2020 by Adam Janczewski, the company has mainly started by completing work on their in-house electronic health records system, which at the moment helps all of their clinics. Their AI assistants handle all tasks concerning patients, but the responsibility for medical tasks, as always, exclusively lies with the doctors, who also have the discretion to choose whether or not to integrate AI in their service.

The proprietary technology platform enhances operational efficiency

The competitive advantage for Jutro Medical comes because it has designed its own Electronic Health Record system, which took four years to develop. It facilitates the smooth incorporation of AI agents into their day-to-day practices. It supports patient intake procedures and helps in preparing for doctor visits, providing a comprehensive background while allowing doctors to have complete control over medical procedures.

Fast growth indicates market validation

The company has recorded stellar growth since its inception. It initially started with one technologically supported clinic and successfully expanded to 20 sites across Poland, and is currently treating about 120,000 patients. Jutro Medical proudly shares that they have performed over 500,000 visits with a staggering average rating of 4.94 out of 5 and a Net Promoter Score of 86. The company has recorded outstanding growth figures of 270% year-over-year. Currently, its AI technology assists with about 1,500 doctor visits on a monthly basis.

In the current year, Jutro has seen the addition of nine clinics to its network, and it plans to finish around 20 acquisitions every year. It ensures the same level of care quality while working on optimizing the profit margins of care operations in Europe, where a shortage of primary care exists, as a large number of GP practices are close to retirement. The startup prides itself on being Europe’s first mover in using an AI-powered roll-up strategy in its primary care services, taking advantage of certain changes in the healthcare industry.

European expansion aims at a fragmented healthcare market

The new investment would facilitate further acquisitions in Poland as well as entering new markets in the rest of the EU, where the primary care market is highly fragmented. There are more than 100,000 small primary care practices in Europe, and as such, the firm believes that it has plenty of opportunities for consolidation in this sector. Warsaw Equity Group’s Jan Szumada highlighted the firm’s unique position of having almost quadrupled revenues on a year-over-year basis while keeping EBITDA margins around breakeven.

With this strategic funding, Jutro Medical can aggressively pursue its clinic roll-up strategy while also pursuing the idea of integrating Artificial Intelligence into the primary care setup across Europe. The fact that this organization has already displayed the capabilities to provide efficiencies, aside from innovation through technology, is extremely alluring for any organization that would like to pursue this model in the fragmented European healthcare space.
