Even Realities has just launched its newest line of smart glasses, called the Even G2, which comes to market as a different proposition from anything previously seen from its competitors. The company decided to invest in a concept for glasses that is less invasive in terms of the obvious use of technology and gives more of the impression of being just an everyday device. With a more discreet technology and no cameras pointed at the world, the Even G2 was designed for anyone who wants to use this technology without feeling like they are wearing a device that seems to be watching them or those around them.

Even Realities focuses on useful technology without compromising daily comfort

Even Realities is known for developing technologies that are practical and seamlessly integrated into people’s daily lives, rather than simply taking up space. The launch of the G2 further reinforces this idea, completely abandoning the front-facing camera, something still considered by many to be intrusive and a violation of privacy.

While competitors focus primarily on investing in glasses capable of filming, photographing, and identifying the context seen by the user, Even Realities decided to go in a different direction, offering a product with assistive features that expand access to the smartphone, and at the same time, do not transform the user’s face into a constantly recording device.

A new display experience brings clarity without adding visual complexity

In addition to the concept created to guarantee more privacy for the user and those around them, the G2 also gained a screen 75% larger than the previous generation, through Even HAO 2.0 technology, which combines micro-LED micro-projectors and lenses with adaptive optical design.

Another area for improvement is the presentation of a product with a lighter design. Now weighing only 36 grams and with a titanium and magnesium alloy frame, the company sought a concept that is both lightweight and resistant, with an aesthetic design.

Smart glasses gain practical features without unnecessary distractions

The new generation of glasses aims to expand smartphone use; that is, instead of trying to replace the device, the G2s seek to increase accessibility. With features that allow users to receive notifications, translate dialogues in real time, view directions while walking, and even keep to-do lists in sight, all in a minimalist and discreet way, the company demonstrates the practicality of its product.

But perhaps the main or most talked-about feature of this new release is Conversate, a kind of “social mode” that uses AI to follow conversations and offer relevant information during the dialogue. It’s an artificial intelligence application that maintains the company’s logic of being discreet while interacting with the user’s surrounding environment.

Another highlight that cannot be overlooked is the new smart ring, the R1. This device functions as a controller for the glasses through subtle touches, in addition to monitoring steps, sleep, heart rate, and blood oxygenation. Besides being a device focused on health data, it’s also an aesthetic accessory that enhances the glasses’ control experience.

Even G2 enters the race with a more discreet approach

The launch of the G2 comes in a highly competitive landscape, where tech giants like Meta, Samsung, and Apple are investing in future concepts known as AI-powered wearables, meaning increasingly everyday access to these devices, filling almost every moment of a person’s life. Even Realities is offering a descriptive take on this concept.

The Even G2 glasses arrive on the market as an attempt to make the use of smart glasses easier in everyday life. By prioritizing discretion, combined with comfort and truly practical features, they aim to reach a segment of the population that may not have felt comfortable using more traditional smart glasses with their visually obvious technology, which could make the G2 even more promising.
