Every September is marked by the IFA event, a major showcase for consumer technology innovations — and IFA 2025 was no exception. This year’s edition featured over 1,900 exhibitors from around the world, with several products designed for a wide range of applications. One of the event’s highlights was the demonstration of how these technologies are becoming increasingly integrated into everyday life, offering solutions that enhance daily routines.
Gadgets that work for you
With solutions that combine artificial intelligence and practicality at the same time, one of the highlights of the fair were the “smart living” products, whose nomenclature intuitively suggests their objective: to simplify daily tasks as much as possible and in an intelligent way.
Home technology that makes your routine easier
Eufy was one of the event’s highlights, showcasing a stair-climbing vacuum called the MarsWalker. The model uses independent arms and a track system that adapts to clean steps of different shapes and sizes. After finishing its work, the vacuum returns itself to its base, where it can be unloaded and recharged.
Another example with a similar logic is a 4-in-1 device presented by Roborock that is capable of combining a washing machine, dryer, vacuum cleaner, and automatic mop. It’s a great alternative for those who don’t have much space, or even for those who have space but want these cleaning items to take up less space and cleaning time. The proposal is capable of reducing the time and space required for storage.
To fully appreciate the diversity of the products on display, even lawn care was considered. The NexLawn VIDAR, a smart lawnmower, dispenses with traditional boundary wires and uses AI and 3D mapping to work independently on slopes and complex edges.
New ways to enjoy screens
Another highlight at IFA was the entertainment-focused products, with a strong focus on portable projectors. The Xgimi Horizon 20 Max delivers cinema-worthy brightness and even supports high-performance gaming. The TCL PlayCube, inspired by a Rubik’s Cube, won over visitors with its compact and functional design—allowing you to take your movie sessions anywhere.
Another product that caught our attention was the Soundcore Nebula X1 Pro, which combines a 4K projector with a full Dolby Atmos sound system, including detachable speakers. It’s another solution focused on ease of use and mobility. It allows you to have a mobile home theater to take you wherever you want.
For those who love challenging and stylish shots, the Antigravity AI A1 drone captures 360-degree videos in 8K resolution and virtually disappears from the footage thanks to advanced stitching technology. The idea is to transform any aerial footage into a fully immersive, lifelike experience.
Artificial intelligence beyond screens
What once seemed like science fiction is beginning to take shape. Some wearable devices that once seemed like science fiction are beginning to take shape. The Acemate Tennis Robot, for example, is the first AI-powered tennis robot capable of simulating a real match. It senses the player’s movement, positions itself, and returns the ball at different speeds. It’s a great opportunity for amateur and professional athletes alike; it’s almost like having a permanent training partner.
Another example comes from so-called “virtual companions.” Small robots from SwitchBot, named Noa and Niko, interact with their owners in an almost emotional way. The idea divides opinions: while some see a fun side, others find the experience a bit strange.
IFA 2025 showcases the diverse applications of recent technologies like artificial intelligence in products that aim to facilitate various possible scenarios in human daily life. Whether it’s household chores, screen experiences, or even sports applications, the event focuses on showcasing innovations that will be useful and add value to consumers.
