Exciting news to share with the car lovers, and those into racing. As we live in the fourth industrial revolution, we become more and more technologically driven. Artificial intelligence expand on a daily basis and consumers are trying to keep up. But imagine keeping up with a 3-Wheeled Electric Jet. Yes, you read correctly, this vehicle is especially attractive to those who loves fast and sporty cars.

Are Cars & Motorcycles replaced?

As technology improves, so will all traditional interventions we are so often too used to. As reported by New Atlas, this three-wheeled electric vehicle or EV that is called the Trinova, is quickly moving toward production. This electric jet is giving drivers a smart way to get through the traffic fast and cut pollution. This is something that normal motorcycles used to do, but there is something that can do the same thing, better, quicker, and cheaper.

In addition, this new wonder is described as a “street-legal fighter jet,” that blends the agility of a motorcycle with the comfort you get from a car. So, one can easily come to the conclusion that this wonder is a combination of the two. This Trinova was created by Markus Scholten, who is a California engineer. This, after he experienced a slow commute that lasted for more than two hours to cover just 30 miles on a packed highway.

The Trinova creator: Mark Scholten

Markus Scholten is truly qualified in a unique sense, because it does not sit within just anyone to create an electric vehicle (EV) like the Trinova. While he found himself in Germany, he gained experience while worked for various big brand names for vehicles. The famous companies are BMW and Karmann GmbH, he also works on several projects for Audi, Mercedes-Benz, and Porsche.

Moreover, after Scholten arrived in America he chose to work on the chassis and roof system for the company called Fisker Karma Sunset. This opportunity lasted until 2012, when the company unfortunately closed down. By being exposed to all of these cars’ companies, meant he knew what he was doing when he created the Trinova.

Detail of the EV Trinova

The Trinova can only accommodate two passengers who are seated in a row, because this is how its cabin is created. It means that this type of design can only keep the vehicle 33.5 inches wide, thus making provision to slip through every traffic. This can be done by moving between lanes where cars are a little slow and where it is not against the law. There is a balanced system that helps with the back wheels of the vehicle. Especially if the wheels are leaning towards a specific direction when taking a turn. The main reason for this is to ensure better control and then the vehicle can be straightened again, once it comes to a stop.

In addition, to out is plain and simple, the Trinova helps drivers to save time while they are in traffic. Drivers have a chance to park it in small spots where cars will not generally fit. Since it has an electric motor, it means that there is no need for any oil changes or fluid top-ups. But what makes it more incredible is the fact that it runs almost silently. You will barely hear it coming down the road.

The final version of the vehicle will feature two motors; there will be one motor in each rear wheel. By implementing this, it will be enabling the 750-pound vehicle to accelerate to 60 mph. This will most likely occur within less than four seconds and also reaching top speeds which will be exceeding 120 mph. Additionally, it is importantly to note that, a fully charged battery will provide 100 to 140 miles of travel, but it also depends on the driver’s driving style.
