NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW cloud gaming service is rolling out 26 new titles throughout August 2026, the company announced on August 6, opening the month with eight games immediately available to stream and the remainder staggered through August 30.
The update arrives alongside NVIDIA’s presence at QuakeCon, running August 6, 9 in Grapevine, Texas, where the company is offering live cloud gaming demonstrations powered by its latest server hardware.
Eight titles available now, 18 more to follow
NVIDIA has revealed 26 games joining GeForce NOW during August 2026, with the lineup covering new releases, Game Pass titles, and several existing PC games.
The service is adding titles such as Big Walk, The Sinking City 2, Mortal Shell II, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, and High on Life 2 during the month.
Eight titles are playable starting this week, with 18 more to follow by August 30. The first group includes Big Walk, Beacon Pines, Sovereign Tower, The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, The Incident at Galley House, Machine Party, and World of Warships: Legends. Expeditions: Samurai is scheduled to join on August 7. World of Warships: Legends brings its free-to-play naval combat to the service without requiring any local installs.
Beacon Pines has been available for free on the Epic Games Store since August 6. Some of the August additions can be accessed through PC Game Pass rather than through a separate purchase. Sandustry, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, and High on Life 2 are among the titles listed with Game Pass support.
Later additions include Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, The Sinking City 2, Mortal Shell II, Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, and Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, among others arriving throughout the month.
RTX 5080 demos at QuakeCon
GeForce NOW is at the QuakeCon gaming conference in Grapevine, Texas, from August 6, 9.
Visitors to the NVIDIA booth can experience GeForce RTX 5080-powered Ultimate cloud gaming in action, with demos showcasing visuals at up to 5K and 120 frames per second on an ultrawide display, as well as seamless gameplay on the Lenovo Legion Go S handheld device.
Conference attendees can see how thousands of PC games, including fan-favorite Bethesda titles, can move effortlessly across laptops, Macs, handhelds, mobile devices, TVs, and more, letting members pick up where they left off on nearly any supported screen.
Gamers not at the show can try out Ultimate cloud gaming in action with a day pass and jump into Bethesda titles from any device. Actual streaming quality still depends on connection speed, latency, membership tier, supported game settings, and display hardware.
How GeForce NOW works and what it costs
GeForce NOW is not a Game Pass-style gaming subscription, but rather a streaming service for a player’s own existing library. A game’s arrival on GeForce NOW does not confirm that its licence is included in the subscription. Access depends on the game, edition, supported PC store and region.
Starting January 1, 2026, each GeForce NOW subscription is limited to 100 hours of play time per month. Under the Performance tier, which costs $9.99 per month, users can buy extra 15-hour blocks for $2.99 each after reaching that cap.
For the Ultimate tier, priced at $19.99 per month, additional 15-hour blocks are available for $5.99 each.
The 100-hour monthly playtime cap applies to all non-Founders paid subscribers, a change NVIDIA stated affects approximately 6 percent of users.
NVIDIA’s full August games list is published on the GeForce NOW blog, with new titles added to the platform each Thursday through the end of the month.
