The 20th anniversary celebration of Jinko Solar was honored by the company on January 7, 2026, during the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) in Abu Dhabi. The date is significant to Jinko Solar as it represented the 20th year of operations of Jinko Solar. It also served as a celebratory event to commemorate the company’s participation in WFES 2026 as a leading participant and in recognition of 20 years of innovation in solar photovoltaics (PV).
From a small start-up to the experts in renewable energy
Since its inception in 2006, Jinko Solar has evolved from a small start-up solar manufacturer into one of the world’s top renewable energy companies with manufacturing facilities across Asia, Europe, North and South America, the Middle East, and Africa. Jinko Solar has expanded its global presence through the expansion of its manufacturing footprint, the creation of high-efficiency PV production lines, and R&D activities.
The anniversary celebration in Abu Dhabi celebrated Jinko Solar’s accomplishments over the past 20 years and reflected the company’s continued commitment to sustainability and decarbonization.
WFES 2026 is recognized as one of the largest conferences in the world
The WFES 2026 conference is recognized as one of the largest conferences in the world for renewable energy leaders, policymakers, investors, and suppliers. As part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, WFES 2026 provided Jinko Solar a suitable platform to reflect on the company’s history and reiterate its vision for the widespread adoption of clean energy internationally.
Jinko Solar executives stated that the Middle East and Africa are becoming increasingly important solar markets due to the aggressive national energy plans of many countries in those regions, increasing demand for electricity, and favorable solar resource availability.
Technological superiority in the solar industry
As part of the celebration of its 20th year of operation, Jinko Solar had a unique opportunity to showcase the company’s technological superiority in the solar industry with the display of the 670W N-Type TOPCon PV Tiger Neo 3.0 Module, a new high-efficiency module design for large-scale commercial and utility applications, at WFES 2026.
Compared to commercially available modules, the Tiger Neo 3.0 Module will offer better reliability and improved performance under a variety of climatic conditions. Therefore, the Tiger Neo 3.0 Module can help meet the increasing global need for high-output solar solutions and reduce the overall total cost of ownership.
Jinko Solar demonstrates its N-Type TOPCon Technology
At WFES 2026, Jinko Solar demonstrated its N-Type TOPCon Technology with a live low-light performance demo, and the demonstration highlighted the advantages of Jinko Solar’s N-Type TOPCon Technology compared to conventional PV systems. The Jinko Solar N-Type TOPCon Technology is able to generate electrical power sooner in the day than conventional PV systems and produces a consistent level of electrical power output throughout daylight hours under both low and medium level irradiance conditions.
The company stated that the ability of the PV system to generate electrical power sooner in the day means that more electrical power is generated per day and provides better financial returns.
In addition to PV modules, Jinko Solar’s energy storage division, Jinko ESS, also presented its current product offerings of energy storage systems, including the Suntera G3 6.25MWh utility-scale system and the SunGiga G2 series, for commercial and industrial applications.
Jinko Solar’s energy storage products and services enable customers to receive comprehensive solar-plus-storage solutions to enhance grid stability, promote the integration of renewable energy into the grid, and ensure continuous access to clean energy.
Celebrating 20 years of Jinko Solar in Abu Dhabi represented a landmark occasion for Jinko Solar and the progression of the global solar industry. Through large-scale manufacturing capabilities, innovative solar technologies, and energy storage innovations, Jinko Solar confirmed its position as a key player in the transition to a more sustainable, resilient, and low-carbon energy future in Abu Dhabi and around the globe.
