One of America’s fan favourite retailers, Costco, is announcing a new Kirkland item that consumers can now purchase. The Kirkland brand has been known for its quality products, and it seems like this situation is no different. The retailer currently has a new frozen Kirkland branded product and consumers cannot control themselves due to the excitement of this game-changing product.
Kirkland Signature Product at Costco
The retailer’s biggest house brand Kirkland just released an extra-crispy frozen French fry, and it is safe to say that the reviews have been raving on the social platform, Reddit. Until now, the consumers at the members-only superstore, Costco, had several choices when it came to the frozen fry section. However, if the taste of this newly introduced product stands up to the hype it has received, this new Kirkland product will then definitely give Ore-Ida frozen fries, a run for its money.
In addition, many of Kirkland Signature products are highly rated by consumers (although there are some that might not reive such as high rating, like Take-and-Bake pizza, that has been a major failure), and it is also suspected that the new frozen French fries by this quality delivering brand, will soon become a fan favorite.
The product of the new Kirkland Product
Another aspect of this newly introduced product that has the consumers buzzing, is the PRICE! This magical price for this product is only $6.79 for a five-pound bag. One of the eager consumers commented on Reddit and indicated that they would “try them in a second!” comparing the appealing low Costco price with Ore-Ida’s.
Many may not know this, but there are specific reasons why Kirkland Signature products are so affordable. When you remove the middleman from the process and buy the products directly from the supplier, the price immediately decreases, and these low prices are then passed along to loyal consumers of Costco.
In addition, whether the Kirkland fries is inexpensive or not, it still has the mouths of consumers watering and yearning for more. These fried can be seen as laden with gravy and cheese curds for poutine or it can even be loaded with guacamole and jalapeños for a Super Bowl gathering. There are several ways and reason why consumers can and should buy these delicious fries.
Additionally, even if you are just oven-baking it, deep-frying it, or planning on air-frying (just so you know, this is advice to be the best way to get them super crispy). Consumers just cannot go wrong with Costco’s AMAZING frozen fries, let rather, Kirland frozen fries. At such an affordable price, consumers may want to stock up on it. It is a very good thing Costco sells freezers as well!
Responses of consumers
It is always good for retailers and brands to look at the response of the consumers. Many of them make use of the social medial platform, Reddit. This is where food is being discussed, and consumers share their reviews and excitement about products. Furthermore, on Reddit, one of the consumers expressed relief that the Kirkland Signature fries were not crinkle-cut. This consumer stated the following, “I’m not a crinkle cut fry fan,” they said, “and that’s been the only option forever.”
This consumer’s preference may sound minor, but the shape of a french fry can impact the taste, and it is good that there is a sense of inclusivity, for those who do not enjoy the crinkle cut. Another Reddit user, who is also a Costco consumer, stated that the fries reminded them of those fries produced by wholesale potato supplier Lamb Weston. There might be a chance that the Kirkland Signature fries may be from Lamb Weston. The reason for this is because Costco products are often manufactured by big names before being given the Kirkland Signature label.
