The Chief Executive Officer of T.J. Maxx, Ernie Herrman, made an announcement in May 2024, stating that there is a goal set for the opening of new stores in at least 1 300 additional locations. This will occur globally, across the TJX portfolio of retail stores. In addition, six new stories will open in four states located in the Columbia District, this was indicated on the company’s website.
